CEBU, Philippines —  A food establishment in Carcar City, Cebu was ordered temporarily closed after violating health protocols during an event held in the said facility.

Carcar City Mayor Mercedita Apura issued an executive order suspending the operation of Paseo De Carcar in Barangay Poblacion from November 6 to December 31, 2021.

The Carcar City government through its Facebook page announced the said suspension.

Apparently, the temporary closure was because of the reported violation committed by the establishment during a Halloween costume party on October 31, 2021.

“Nakuhaan ug mga video ug pictures nga na viral ug gi post sa social media nga naghuot ang mga tao ug wala nituman sa protocols. Due to several complains that came out from the several videos posted, naghimo ug investigation ang LGU ug nahibawan ang paglapas sa mga protocols,” the local government said in its Facebook page.

With this, the local government has reminded the public to always heed on the health protocols even with the eased restriction against COVID-19 in the city. — GMR (FREEMAN)
