Iris Hazel Mascardo - The Freeman

CEBU, Philippines — The authorities now have a person of interest behind the killing of one of the four bodies uncovered in a gravesite in Compostela, Cebu last Tuesday.

Police Captain Vincent Zozobrado, station commander of the Compostela Police Station, told reporters yesterday that they will be meeting with the last person seen with Elmer Enanoria, the first of

The four bodies that was identified by a relative.

Zozobrado said the person of interest was the last one to be seen together with Enanoria before he went missing last September 25.

Police said, Enanoria, 20, from Riverside, Barangay Bulacao Pardo, Cebu City was identified by his families who went to the police station last Wednesday.

During the interview with the family, Zozobrado said they learned about the activities of Enanoria who was said to be engaged in illegal drugs.

“Mao ni siya ang nakit-an kakuyog bago wala na nibalik... Person of interest ni siya. Basig karon hapon mo hangyo mi sa hepe nga maestorya ang dinakpan,” said Zozobrado.

Enanoria’s autopsy results showed he sustained about 16 stab wounds to the different parts of his body. The two other bodies also sustained stab wounds.

At present, Zozobrado said they are still working on determining the identity of the two bodies, as there were also persons who visited the station to report about their missing relative. — GAN (FREEMAN)
