CSBT getting ready to resume operation
CEBU, Philippines — The Cebu South Bus Terminal (CSBT) management is now preparing for the reopening of its original facility at Natalio Bacalso Avenue in Cebu City.
CSBT manager Carmen Quijano said from the 1,500 capacity of the terminal, they will just accommodate first 500 passengers inside its lounge so that physical distancing will be observed.
The “no ticket, no entry” policy would still in effect since it was first imposed late last year.
In addition, the management will implement the “no face mask, no face shield, no entry” following the quarantine protocols against the coronavirus.
“Mao na ang problema kay mo-limit ra man mi og mga pasahero sa sulod didto sa passenger’s lounge abot didto sa luyo sa terminal. So ang uban adto ra sa gawas. So akong giawhag ang mga tawo magdala mo og payong,” Quijano said.
Quijano said she is just waiting for the order of the Governor as to when will they be able to resume operation.
The entire Province of Cebu including the highly-urbanized cities is now under the modified general community quarantine (MGCQ).
