Cebu grad tops architects’ board
CEBU, Philippines — A graduate of Cebu Institute of Technology-University (CIT-U) emerged at the top of the board exam for architects given by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) last January.
Justin Lei Ramos obtained a score of 83.80 percent to lead the 1,120 passers out of the 1,990 graduates who took the exam. That translates to a national passing percentage of 56.28 percent.
Behind Ramos, tied at second place, are Carlo Martin Llanto of University of the Philippines-Diliman and Christina Marie Relucio of Technological University of the Philippines-Manila who garnered 83.50 percent.
They are followed by Angelo Ezekiel Nuestro of De La Salle University-College of Saint Benilde at 3rd place with 83.40 percent; Genna Aina Domingo of Mapua Institute of Technology-Manila, 4th with 83 percent; Sofia Marga Silot of University of Mindanao-Davao City, 5th with 82.30 percent; and Ulysses Eduardo de Guia Jr. of Mapua Institute of Technology-Manila, 6th with 82 percent.
Rounding out the top 10 are Ivan Lester Leaño of TIP-Manila, 7th with 81.80 percent; Marlon Gamilong of TIP-Manila and Kim Mark Anthony Revote of UM-Davao City, 8th with 81.70 percent; Noel Amor Jr. of UM-Davao City, 9th with 81.60 percent; and Emmanuel Josemarie Teruel of University of Santo Tomas, 10th with 81.50 percent.
The examination was held in the cities of Manila, Baguio, Cebu, Davao, Legazpi and Zamboanga last January 25 and 27.
