CEBU, Philippines - Cebu Provincial Police Office Director Senior Superintendent Eric Noble will meet his men next week to discuss preparations for the coming Holy Week.

Noble said they are set to meet next week after the conclusion of major events, especially the arrival of President Rodrigo Duterte last Thursday wherein many of his men were deployed to the field.

"Mana man ang pagbisita sa presidente, isunod na usab nato ang preparasyon sa Semana Santa," said Noble.

Noble said, they will monitor all the places in the Province of Cebu, especially those with expected high volume of tourists such as Bantayan Island.

Noble said he is hoping that he can visit all the places before the start of Holy Week on April 9 Palm Sunday.

Noble informed The FREEMAN that normal police duties and functions will remain, and that they will follow the protocols practiced during All Saints' Day and All Souls' Day and during the holiday season.

"Atong gamiton ang security operations nato sa nanglabay nga mga dagkong kalihukan," said Noble. —/JBB (FREEMAN)
