Annabelle heats up Twitter for Mike

CEBU, Philippines - Feisty Annabelle Rama took to Twitter her disappointment over the impending suspension of her first degree cousin, Cebu City Mayor Michael Rama.

 The Office of the President found Rama, Vice Mayor Edgardo Labella, and 12 city councilors guilty of abuse of authority over the release of P20,000 to all 4,200 City Hall employees and officials in 2013.

 In a series of tweets posted yesterday, Annabelle (@annabellerama2) said she had to comment on the issue since she could no longer take the allegations hurled at Rama whom she described as "maka-Diyos at mabait na tao at matulungin pa."

 "Nagdurugo ang puso ko, hindi ko na matiis but to comment. Bakit si Mike ang pinag-initan sa mga kalaban," one of her 26 tweets reads. 

 Annabelle raised her cousin's track record as a politician, saying Rama has never been involved in corruption allegations. She argued that Rama did not pocket the P20,000 calamity fund for each employee.

  Annabelle also hinted that Rama's opponent in the mayoralty race is behind the suspension.

 "Yon ang laging may complaint against my cousin. Lagi siyang hinahanapan ng butas. Ikaw ang maraming corruption, during your term as mayor at hindi ka na nakabalik puro talo ka," she tweeted.

 "Nilalakad mo papano ma-suspend si Mike para wala ka ng kalaban? Ang kapal ng mukha mo," she added.

 Annabelle also said Rama may have been picked on for campaigning openly for Vice President Jejomar Binay.
