Drug suspect nabbed in Consolacion
CEBU, Philippines - A suspected drug pusher was arrested yesterday morning during a buy-bust operation in Barangay Tayud, Consolacion.
The suspect was identified as Noel Pepito, 38, who is also a member of a local robbery group in the area. Pepito was caught in the act of selling a pack of shabu worth P200 to an undercover policeman.
The police confiscated a medium pack and six small packs of suspected shabu from the suspect including the buy-bust money. Senior Inspector Wilson Abot said that the suspect is among the target person in the station’s Oplan Lambat-Sibat. He is among the top 10 drug personalities in the area.
He is considered a level three drug pusher capable of selling at least 10 grams of shabu every week. During the investigation the suspect allegedly admitted his involvement in robbery incidents in Barangay Tayud.

The suspect allegedly promised to cooperate with the police to arrest the other members of the robbery group.
According to Abot, Pepito’s group robbed a private company in Tayud of at least P500,000 cash and valuables.
“Tungod nga nadakpan ning bataa daghan tang masulbad nga lung-kab sa Tayud ug sa neighboring places including Mandaue City,” Abot said. (FREEMAN)
