Robredo due in Cebu today
CEBU, Philippines - Vice presidential candidate and Camarines Sur Representative Leni Robredo will be in Cebu today for a series of activities.
She will be joined by Senator Bam Aquino and former senator Francis Pangilinan in the forum with the various civil society organizations and urban poor groups at 9:30 a.m. today at the University of San Carlos main campus. Robredo will also meet with various youth groups for the launching of Cebu for Leni at 10:15 a.m. still at the USC.
Robredo is the runningmate of Mar Roxas, Liberal Party’s standard bearer.
She is also scheduled to meet with Governor Hilario “Junjun” Davide III and several mayors as well as other LP officials in the province at the Capitol. Aquino is the campaign manager of Robrero.
Robredo is also meeting the residents of Barangay Paknaan at 2:00 p.m. where 3,500 to 4,000 beneficiaries of the Mandaue Relocation and Socialized Housing Project are expected to attend.
She will be accompanied by Aquino for handshaking at the Lapu-Lapu City wet market at 3:00 p.m. before heading to West Gorordo Hotel where Bicolanos living in Cebu will launch the Leni for Vice President Movement.
Robredo will meet the members of the media for a press conference at 6:15 p.m.—(FREEMAN)
