Two men arrested for motorcycle theft
CEBU, Philippines - Two men were arrested on Thursday for allegedly attempting to steal a motorcycle at the parking area of a mall along the North Reclamation Area.
Frank Aranas, 33, of P. Del Rosario Extension and Jobelle Arnejo, 27, of MJ Cuenco Avenue were arrested by the security guards of the establishment after they were seen taking away the parked motorcycle of Christopher Gacuban.
The security guards of the establishment, Margarito Aplanto and Costancio Banolo, caught Aranas and Arnejo with the motorcycle, helmet and the victim’s bag.
The police recovered from the two a plastic of shabu and a bladed weapon.
The suspects were brought to the Mabolo Police Station and will be facing charges for violating RA 6359 or Carnapping and Article 2 of RA 9165 or Possession of Dangerous Drugs. —/ATO (FREEMAN)
