Pusher falls to police decoy

CEBU, Philippines - Illegal drugs and a gun were seized from a man who sold illegal drugs to a police decoy during a buy bust operation conducted yesterday dawn in Buaya, Lapu-Lapu City.

Edwin Jay Tampus, 19, a resident of said place, was arrested by the police after he sold a small pack of shabu in the amount of P200 to a police decoy at around 1 a.m. outside his residence.

When frisked, the police were also able to seize from his possession 30 more small packs of shabu and a .38 cal. revolver with three live ammunitions.

Senior Insp. Junel Caadlawon of Pusok police station said the suspect was also allegedly involved in robbery cases.

The suspect is now detained at the Lapu-Lapu City Police Office holding cell pending the filing of charges against him.  (FREEMAN)
