Fractal Analysis and Statistics were introduced by Commission on Higher Education (CHED) former Commissioner Roberto Padua.
“This is a new development in research using Fractal analysis and statistics which do not only focus on central tendencies but more on geographical presentation of certain variables that we consider in our researches,†explained Dr. Daisy Palompon, Director of the Center for Research and Development of Cebu Normal University (CNU).
Palompon added that they are also pushing for the Theory Development in researches.

“This is to allow also our academicians, industry practitioners to also share and disseminate their papers. It is not enough to submit a paper and afterwards nothing happens. This one is we present and we dissimilate,†Palompon said
Meanwhile, Palompon stressed that Visayas has been moving forward in terms of research practices.
