80th Founding Anniversary, STC-Cebu welcomes Jubilarians in 2-day Homecoming event

The Freeman

CEBU, Philippines - A school is not just a learning institution, but it is a student’s 2nd home. It is where knowledge is nurtured, friendships are bonded and a family is formed. After graduation, the alumni may have heaved a sigh of relief but that 2nd home becomes a place of memories, a part of their lives and a longing to come back home again. St. Theresa’s College- Cebu is no different.

Celebrating its 80th founding anniversary, STC-Cebu welcomes their Jubilarians and alumnae in a big way! The institution brings back their alumnae and reconnects the bond between them and the school through their 2-Day Homecoming event.

An Institutional Welcome will be held at STC’s Audio-Visual Room on July 26, 2013 to be followed by a Campus Tour, Museum Tour and their Trailblazers Exhibit. Recognized as an institution that produces empowered and high-caliber women, the Trailblazers exhibit is a tribute to these women who have made a mark and a difference in society. On July 27, 2013 will be the St. Theresa’s Alumnae Association’s Homecoming celebration for the Jubilarians, the High School and College batches sponsoring the event, where memories will be reminisced and batch presentations are performed.

Home is where the heart is, and for every Theresian their hearts find solace in the very institution that fostered and guided them to being women of character. (FREEMAN)
