Rama dances Gangnam, Osmeña sings “My Way”

CEBU, Philippines - Reelectionist Mayor Michael Rama sings and dances before the public whenever he attends social affairs, including his campaign sorties, but his political opponent does not worry about it, believing this does not work.

Cebu City South District Representative Tomas R. Osmeña said he will not dance or sing before the public just to convince the people to vote for him.

But one of Osmeña’s friends narrated that the lawmaker, on some occasions, will also sing his favorite song My Way popularized by Frank Sinatra.

Rama, meanwhile, always sings his favorite song “The Way You Look Tonight” while he attends social gatherings at night.

In Team Rama’s mini-rallies, the mayor would lead the Team Rama candidates to dance the “Gangnam Style.”

“Malingaw g’yud ko aning mayor motan-aw kon mosayaw uy, angayan kaayo,” a senior citizen was heard of saying while the mayor danced before a crowd of members of a homeowners association in front of City Hall one Sunday. (I like to see the mayor dance, he does it well.)

But Osmeña said he believes that most of the Cebuanos will not vote for a candidate just because he is a good singeror dancer, but they prefer those who can do good for the city.(FREEMAN)
