CEBU, Philippines - Two more aspirants, a retired government employee and a writer - director, filed their Certificates of Candidacy in Cebu City yesterday.
The retired government employee, 70-year-old Federico Peredo, seeks a seat at the City Council.
He lives in Basak-San Nicolas and filed his candidacy under the Partido ng Manggagawa at Magsasaka (PMM).
His Certificate of Nomination and Acceptance attached to his COC was signed and issued to him by the Regional Chairman of PMM, Paul Bulilan. PMM is based in Pasig City, according to the attached CONA. Peredo filed his COC at 1 p.m. yesterday.
By 1:30 p.m. an aspiring congressman in the north district filed his COC before the Commission on Elections (Comelec).
Eliseo Tumulak, 69, who claimed to be a writer - director, resides in barangay Hipodromo. He is running as an independent candidate.
The whole slate of Team Rama and Bando Osmeña Pundok Kauswagan (BOPK) will file their COCs today, the last day of filing. – (FREEMAN)
