PAG-IBIG adopts mid numbers method

CEBU, Philippines - The Home Development Mutual Fund (Pag-ibig Fund) is enhancing its services by adopting the Membership Identification (MID) Numbers method to hasten the delivery of their service.

Starting this month, Pag-ibig required all its members to have an MID number for all their office transactions.

Under the guidelines of this new requirement, each time the employers remit the contributions and loan payments of their employees, the names and MID numbers of their employees must be indicated on the remittance form.

In a press statement, Pag-ibig said that a member that does not have any MID number will experience a delay in the processing of any transactions with their office.

Pag-ibig added that transactions or forms to be submitted that require MID include members’ contribution remittance form, short term loan/multi-purpose loan applications and monthly remittance schedule for multi-purpose loans.

Pag-ibig advised members without MID yet to secure a Registration Tracking Number (RTN) at their office or any Pag-ibig branches or via internet through their website.

Pag-ibig members can use RTN in place of the MID. —MIT (FREEMAN)
