Gullas family statement

CEBU, Philippines - The Gullas family has issued a statement regarding a fatal incident involving one of its members. The statement follows in full:

The Gullas family, with great sadness, wishes to announce the untimely death of Kyle Julian Gullas Weckman, 13, son of David Weckman and Jackie Gullas Weckman, and grandson of UV Executive Vice President Jose Gullas, in an accident in Bataan last Wednesday, September 12.

Kyle was part of a class tour made up of 41 students from the Cebu International School. A Korean student is the other fatality in the accident.

We regret to say that no other detail can be provided as the matter is still being investigated. In the meantime, we ask to be indulged some private moments to deal with our grief. Any further announcements will be made when details permit. For the moment this is all we can share to the public.
