Boy Durano, son attend anniversary opening
CEBU, Philippines - Rumored vice gubernatorial aspirant, former Danao City vice mayor Ramon “Boboy” Durano IV, attended the opening ceremony of the 443rd founding anniversary of the Province of Cebu yesterday.
Durano accompanied his father, Danao City Mayor Ramon “Boy” Durano Jr. and uncle, former mayor Jesus “Don” Durano.
Mayor Boy said it was the first time he attended the activity at the Capitol led by Gov. Gwendolyn Garcia.
The Duranos were with One Cebu Party gubernatorial bet, Rep. Pablo John Garcia of Cebu’s third district and the governor’s younger brother. Boboy is reportedly running with Pablo John and against his aunt, Vice Gov. Agnes Magpale, in next year’s election.
Magpale and some of her allies in the Barug Alang sa Kauswagan ug Demokrasya (Bakud) party in the fifth district were also present yesterday.
Boboy told reporters that they discussed many things with Pablo John but nothing is final yet. Recognizing the achievements of Gov. Garcia, Boboy wished that whoever will sit at the Capitol next year and in the coming years would continue her projects.— (FREEMAN)
