- Jeffrey John G. Bungcasan -

CEBU, Philippines - A collector of Fair Bank-Bogo Branch claimed he lost his P17,000 worth of collection after he was robbed by unidentified men while traveling along Sitio Japitanio, Don Pedro, Bogo City last Wednesday.

The victim was identified as Jovanny Sinanguti Loga, 23 years old, married, and a resident of Dapdap, San Regimio, Cebu.

Police said that at about 3 o’clock in the afternoon, the victim was riding his motorcycle when two men, whose faces were covered, blocked his way and announced a hold-up while pointing a gun at him.

The victim immediately got off his motorcycle and ran away, leaving the P17,000 cash placed inside the motorcycle’s U-box. The victim hurriedly reported to the police station but when the policemen arrived, the robbers and the cash were already gone.

The victim claimed that there was no one in the area during the incident and he felt lucky he was not shot while he was running away.  (FREEMAN)
