Stomach pains prevent "Teban" from comedy play

CEBU, Philippines - Severe stomach pains prevented Provincial Board Member Julian “Teban” Daan from joining a comedy play on cybersex operation in the province at the Cebu International Convention Center in Mandaue City yesterday.

Daan and other members of the Provincial Board and their staff were supposed to dramatize cybersex activity during the Women’s Congress held at the CICC.

But as they were about to come out on stage, Daan complained of stomachache and was immediately taken to the CICC clinic.

Dr. Henry Calledo immediately gave anti-spasm and antacid to the board member.

The presentation, however, went on with program host, Capitol consultant Sam Costanilla, took over the role of Daan as narrator.

Daan, also known as Esteban Escudero, is a popular comedian and drama actor in radio and television.

Just like their presentation during the Christmas Party at the Capitol last December, Board Members Thadeo Ouano and Arleigh Jay Sitoy acted as two young girls used by their mother, played by Yolly, wife of Teban, in a cybersex comedy presentation.

Vice Governor Agnes Magpale performed her real function as the co-chairperson of the Provincial Women’s Commission, which conducted a raid on the house of a couple who are using their children for their cybersex business.

Other board members and staff acted as law enforcement officers, foreign customers using webcams and reporters.

Yolly told The FREEMAN that her husband was already complaining of abdominal pains when they picked him up at the office.

After Daan was checked at the CICC clinic, Yolly said that the physician advised her to bring her husband to the Perpetual Succour Hospital.

Yolly recalled that her husband had developed a kidney stone ten years ago.

Yolly said that her husband, who is still at the hospital, is already out of danger and that they are just waiting for the result of the ultrasound. —/LPM (THE FREEMAN)
