CEBU, Philippines - Cebu Provincial Board (PB) Member Arleigh Sitoy sponsored the highest number of resolutions last year while Sangguniang Kabataan President and PB ex-officio Member Aladin Caminero had initiated the least number.
Records from the Provincial Secretary’s Office showed that Sitoy sponsored a total of 182 resolutions and 14 ordinances. Board Member Sergio Restauro follows with 65 resolutions and four ordinances.
Third in the list was PB Member Thadeo Ouano with 61 resolutions and eight sponsored ordinances and Julian Daan with 61 resolutions and one ordinance sponsored.
PB Members Peter John Calderon initiated 57 resolutions and nine ordinances, PB Member Jude Sybico had 42 resolutions and two ordinances, followed by Board Member Joven Mondigo, Jr. with 36 resolutions and four ordinances, and Sun Shimura with 31 resolutions and three ordinances.
PB Members Wilfredo Caminero filed 29 resolutions and proposed seven ordinances, Jose Holganza, Jr. sponsored 26 resolutions and five ordinances, Alex Binghay had 24 resolutions and two ordinances, Carmen Meca filed 22 resolutions and five ordinances, and Ian Zambo sponsored 17 resolutions and three ordinances.
Aladin Caminero sponsored 15 resolutions and an ordinance.
Sitoy only ranked fourth in 2010, with Calderon, the majority floor leader, topping the list. – (FREEMAN)
