CEBU, Philippines - The Cebu City Medical Center got an early Christmas treat as it received P800,000 worth of medical equipment yesterday.
CCMC chief Dr. Gloria Duterte said they are thankful for the new equipment and supplies, which were donated by the alumnae batch ’71 of the Colegio de la Immaculada Concepcion School.
Duterte said the donated equipment include six wheelchairs, cardiac monitors, blood pressure apparatus and linens.
Duterte ordered for the inventory of the new equipment, saying that the donations would be of great help to the hospital.
Last month, CCMC received at least P8 million worth of hospital equipment from two hospitals in Japan.
These donations included bed mattresses, small refrigerators, electric beds, wheelchairs and other hospital apparatus. (FREEMAN)
