Burglar carts shoes and phones worth P30T

CEBU, Philippines - A computer engineering student lost P30,000 worth of valuables when an unidentified burglar broke into his house along Clavano Street, Capitol Site, Cebu City.

Patrick Tan Lao, 18; his elder brother, Pocholo, 26, and their house helper, Marlon Macawili, 28, a native of Naval Biliran occupied the house which the unidentified suspect entered by forcible removing sliding window’s iron grill.

Investigators from the Cebu City Police Office Theft and Robbery Section said the lone suspect allegedly entered the house at around 6:30 a.m.

Once inside, the unidentified burglar took a Hendren Bag which costs P4, 000 and contained a Sony Ericson Cellular Phone worth P16, 000; an 8 GB flash drive worth P750; Sperry Topsider Shoes worth P4,000 and a Nokia phone worth P1,000. —
