Man loses 9T in rainy day hold up

CEBU, Philippines - Amidst the rain and damp weather the other day, a man lost his cash to unscrupulous individuals in Barangay Lahug.

Leo Paglinawan, 31, of Macro Ville, Kamputhaw, Cebu City lost his P9,200 cash to two people who offered him protection from the rain.

He narrated that he was walking at the Asiatown IT Park around 5:30 pm when a man offered him an umbrella. Moments later, another man arrived and suddenly pointed a knife to his waist and declared a hold-up. Both men demanded that he give them his money and because of fear, Paglinawan said he did not have any other recourse but to hand in his cash.

Not contended, Paglinawan said one of the culprits also kicked him on his left leg before the two fled. (FREEMAN)
