Internet shop loses computers to swindlers
CEBU, Philippines - An internet shop in Carcar has lost several valuables to two unidentified con artists last Friday.
Ariel Sandoy, owner of KYLE Internet Shop in Barangay Valladolid Carcar City, reported to the police station that the two unidentified swindlers have stolen two Central Processing Units, one Samsung and one Philips computer monitors from his shop.
Sandoy said the perpetrators have misled his caretaker, Jeremy Navilla.
The unidentified thieves approached Navilla looking for computer technicians. Out of the goodness of his heart, Navilla led them to a technician he knew in Barangay Poblacion, few kilometers away from the internet shop.
However, upon reaching the place the culprits hurriedly drove their motorcycle back to the internet shop leaving Navilla behind.
When Navilla got back at the shop, the two have already left with the stolen items.
Police Officer 3 Dante Ramas admitted that it is very difficult to recover the items because the victim did not recognize the con men.(FREEMAN NEWS)
