Tourists allege theft at hotel

CEBU, Philippines - Four Indonesians who are currently in Cebu for a tour reported to the Lapu-Lapu City Police that they lost their personal belongings at a hotel located in Barangay Gun-ob yesterday.

Ahmad Zaki Syafrizal, 26; Andi Wikak Sunoza, 29; Shyco Gusti Agong, 18; and Agustian Udi Ryanto, 30; went to the Theft and Robbery section of the Lapu-Lapu City Police Office to report the incident. They said they discovered that their belongings were missing when they woke up yesterday morning.

Syafrizal claimed he lost $50 and P300; Sunoza claimed he lost P10,000; Agong claimed he lost P4,000 and a Swiss watch; while Ryanto claimed he lost P4,500 and a silver ring.

The TRS said they are yet to conduct a thorough investigation into the incident, especially that there was not a sign that the supposed thief forcibly entered into the complainants' room.  (FREEMAN NEWS)
