CEBU, Philippines - A fire razed a two-story house at Del Pilar Street in barangay Gun-ob, Lapu-Lapu City yesterday morning.
Lapu-Lapu City Fire Investigator SFO1 Atilano Berido said the fire started at a room at the second floor of the house occupied by one Florentino Arquisa.
The house is owned by one Kennedy Maceren and rented out to foreign national Karl Lutz and Arquiza.
Reports said the fire was started by matches but fire officials are still investigating and have invited witnesses to shed light on the incident.
No one was reported injured.
Damage to property was placed at P250,000. (FREEMAN)
