CEBU, Philippines - Two shoppers lost Tuesday expensive things left inside their car while it was parked at a mall in Mandaue City.
Roshelle Tobino, who works for Shangrila Mactan-Cebu, and Maria Gerra had gone to the mall to have dinner at around 9 o'clock.
When they got back to their car an hour later, they found the car's back window broken.
Gerra alleged she lost a Nikon camera worth P62,000, a laptop worth P39,000, a phone, and other things worth P150,000, totaling P251,000.
Tobino said the job was done by a professional.
"Limpyo gyud ka-ayo pagka buak ang bildo, wala nagkalat," she said.
Tobino also said she was dismayed at what happened to her car.
"Nahitabo ang pag-panglungkab duol-duol sa guard house ug atubangan pa gyud sa SWAT," she said.
The police are investigating several car thieves in the area.
Tobino, however, is optimistic she will get back her things. (FREEMAN)
