CEBU, Philippines - The son of barangay Tayud captain Bingol Villo was elected president of the Consolacion Sangguniang Kabataan Federation last Friday at the town session hall.
Vito Rolito Villo of barangay Tayud got 12 votes while his opponent Carlo John Alimoren of barangay Garing garnered 9 votes.
Consolacion has 21 barangays.
The younger Villo is the brother of incumbent municipal Councilor Nicole Villo Escobido.
The other officers of the Sangguniang Kabataan Federation in Consolacion include Jane Rose Palang,Auditor; Christal Kate Goc-ong, secretary; Rachel Abucay,Treasurer; Klarizza Charmaine Cutab; Jovena Jane Siacor, auditor; Pinky Padayogdog, sgt.-at-arms. (FREEMAN)
