CEBU, Philippines - Four people, including three Korean nationals, were injured after figuring in a vehicular accident along the national highway in Barangay Canduling, Ronda last Friday morning.
The accident happened after the driver of the Toyota Innova rent-a-car, 26-year-old Miguel Naing, tried to avoid a stray dog that suddenly crossed the road.
The three Koreans were identified as Sang Ki Han, Dong Hyun Kim, and Jon Huem Kim, all of legal age.
Investigation showed that Naing, a resident of Pajac, Lapu-Lapu City, was driving the car with plate number GWZ-618 from Cebu City to the Green Island resort in Badian town when they met the accident.
In trying to avoid the dog, Naing accidentally hit a Toyota jeepney with plate number GAA-325 parked along the road owned by a certain Pepito Ator. He subsequently rammed into a government lamppost before crashing into the fence of a house owned by one Leovehilda Cereneo.
Luckily, the victims only sustained minor injuries and were treated at a nearby hospital.
