Luigi reiterates pledge to help constituents

CEBU, Philippines – Cebu Sixth district Rep. Gabriel Luis R. Quisumbing has assured constituents in the district of his continued commitment to work for their welfare.

The congressman recently met the one hundred beneficiaries of his scholarship assistance program in a special activity he hosted for the students at the Norkis Park in barangay Centro, Mandaue City.  

During the program, Quisumbing said Norkis Park will be reserved for the entire day of every month exclusively for his scholars for activities such as sports fest and trainings that will enrich the students and give them additional skills.  

"The Scholarship Assistance Program aims to help the less fortunate families in the educational needs of their children in the 6th district" said Quisumbing. 

Quisumbing likewise expressed his appreciation for the support that he has received from other partner agencies for his programs.

Present in the activity aside from Luigi Quisumbing were DSWD regional director Ma. Evelyn Macapobre, CHED Regional Director Amelia Biglete , CHED Regional Scholarship Coordinator Dr. Constantina Barbas, and CHED Congressional Scholarship Program Coordinator Mr. Dante Cabonilas. (FREEMAN)
