German found dead in Lapu-Lapu

CEBU, Philippines – A German was found dead floating in the seawaters of Barangay Pajo, Lapu-Lapu City yesterday morning.

The fatality was identified as Alfred Hugo Wolfgang, 52. He was identified through his passport found on his pocket.

One Yoly Ybañez, resident of Sitio Paradise barangay Pajo found the body floating few meters off the coast at 6 a.m. yesterday. Responding policemen did not find a single wound on the victim's body.

SPO2 Ernesto Francisco of the homicide section theorized that Wolfgang could have jumped into the waters from a higher ground or somebody might have pushed him into the waters.

The victim was wearing an orange polo shirt, black long pants, black leather shoes and a wristwatch when found.

No other things were recovered from the victim except for a passport placed in one of his pockets. His body now lies at the Cosmopolitan Funeral Homes. (FREEMAN)
