CEBU, Philippines - The regional office of the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP) inaugurated its permanent building in Guadalupe, Cebu City on Monday.
The event was attended by the BJMP Director Rosendo Dial and deputy chief for operations Chief Supt. Doris Remedios-Dorigo.
The four-story building, located at No. 13B, M. Veloso Street, Guadalupe, stands on a 405-square-meter lot.
Its construction started during the incumbency of then regional director Dorigo in October 2009.
Present during the ceremony were the staff, wardens, wardresses, and personnel of BJMP-7 headed by regional director Chief Supt. Norvel Mingoa.
Department of the Interior and Local Government-7 assistant director Elias Fernandez and officials of other agencies also attended the ceremony. (FREEMAN)
