CEBU, Philippines – Liloan town Mayor Vincent Franco "Duke" Frasco yesterday denied issuing a statement about any endorsement made by former President Joseph Estrada.
Frasco made the clarification following a report yesterday that Estrada had endorsed him as next governor of Cebu province and that the mayor was considering it as a challenge.
Frasco said he had not commented on Estrada's statement last Saturday during the inauguration of the new public market, legislative building, governor's boardwalk, and the Liloan Medical Center.
"No comment lang ko ana," said Frasco.
Frasco said he is now focused on implementing priority projects in the town.
He said he is aspiring for Liloan to become a city under his administration. (FREEMAN)
