Cebuano engineer receives highest honor from PSME

CEBU, Philippines - A Cebuano is the recipient of this year’s Fellow Award, the highest award given by the Philippine Society of Mechanical Engineers (PSME) to its members nationwide.

PSME conferred the award to Engr. Greg Senining, a native of San Remegio, Cebu during the 58th National Convention of PSME held at PICC in Pasay City last October 13-16, 2010.

The PSME has 83 chapters including its chapters in the Middle East.

Engr. Senining is a former professor of the University of the Visayas College of Engineering and an alumnus of the said university.

He was awarded Most Outstanding Member of PSME Cebu chapter and its president in 1981 and served as past national executive vice president with perfect attendance in PSME National Board.

He handles the 28 years old “Tingog sa Lungsod” program over Bantay Radyo and sits as president emeritus of the Cebu Association of Media Practitioners, Incorporated. He is also past president of the Sugbuanong Komentaristang Nagpakabana,Inc. (THE FREEMAN)
