Five arrested for allegedly selling and using shabu
CEBU, Philippines – The City Intelligence Branch and the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) yesterday arrested three men and two women for allegedly selling and using shabu in sitio Lawis, barangay Pasil, Cebu City.
Arrested were Samuel Daan, 46, Elenita Daan, 21, Jocelyn Labajo, 42, Allan Tig-tig, 44, and Charlemagne Pacheco, 20.
Pacheco and Tigtig were caught in the act of allegedly abusing what was suspected to be shabu.
Seized were several packs allegedly containing 'shabu" and a video karera machine. The seized items were valued at 45, 000.
Police Chief Inspector Romeo Santander said Pasil is still a problem when it comes to drugs.
"Problema gihapon ang Pasil when it comes to drugs. Didto ra ka makakita og suyopanan nga aircon," Santander said.
A dealer is believed to dispose of 1,000 grams of "shabu" in a week.
CIB is preparing charges against those arrested for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act. (FREEMAN)
