Alleged drug pusher arrested in Bakilid
CEBU, Philippines – The City Anti-Illegal Drugs Special Operations Task Force of the Mandaue City Police arrested yesterday afternoon a suspected drug pusher in barangay Bakilid in Mandaue City.
Mitchell Dacay, alias "Totong," 33, married, and a resident of the place, was caught in the act of selling illegal drugs to a poseur buyer outside his rented room.
Police were able to enter his room when they saw in plain view that there were three small packs of white crystalline in his makeshift bed.
Seven small packs of shabu were seized from his possession after the police frisked him.
CAIDSOTF chief P/Insp. Zosimo Jabas yesterday said Dacay's arrest was attributed to a tip received by the police.
He said it was the first time Dacay was arrested.
Cases of illegal possession and selling of illegal drugs are being prepared against Dacay, who is presently detained at the Mandaue Police station 1. (FREEMAN)
