Man rapped for acts of lasciviousness
CEBU, Philippines – A man who allegedly exposed himself to two minors is now facing two counts of acts of lasciviousness before the Regional Trial Court.
Prosecutor Aida Sanchez recommended a bail of P180,000 for each count for the temporary liberty of the accused.
Sanchez said the accused, with deliberate intent and using his influence as an adult, unlawfully committed acts of lasciviousness towards two boys aged six and seven years old earlier this month in Middle Tabunacal, barangay Pardo, Cebu City.
On September 3, 2010 at around 6 p.m. the accused allegedly pulled the boys into a comfort room, exposed his genitals and asked the boys to hold them.
The boys told their mother what happened but the accused denied all the accusations against him.
Pardo councilman William Tajanlangit said on September 4, 2010 at around 11:45 a.m. they assisted the parents of the victim in arresting the accused and coordinating with the police.
The lawyer of the accused said his arrest was improper, but policemen investigating the case said he has no reason to make the claim. (FREEMAN)
