Village grateful to Gwen, Luigi

CEBU, Philippines – Officials of barangay Nangka in Consolacion town has expressed their gratitude to Gov. Gwendolyn Garcia and sixth district Rep. Gabriel Luigi "Luis" Quisumbing for the support they have extended including the cementing of some roads.

Nangka barangay captain Rey Cataluna said barangay Nangka received 720 sacks of cement from the provincial government which. The cement was used to pave the roads at Purok 4 and V@G Subdivision.

Last month, Quisumbing visited barangay Nangka and provided books and school supplies to day care students.

Cataluna said Quisumbing has promised to continue his support to the barangay.

Sixth District Provincial board member Arleigh Sitoy during his visit to the barangay also assured Cataluna of support to projects in his barangay. (FREEMAN)
