Lapu-Lapu SP lauds its secretary
CEBU, Philippines – The Lapu-Lapu City council has adopted a resolution congratulating Francisco Y. Limpangog, acting Secretary of the sangguniang panlungsod of the city for emerging second runner up in the men's executive division of the recently concluded Pilipinas 25 Kilometers International Marathon held last August 15, 2010 at the IT Park in Lahug, Cebu City.
A city council resolution approved on mass motion, stated that Limpangog finished his 25 kilometers run in two hours and 7 minutes which made him the second runner up in the Men's Executive Division.
The city council said his winning brought pride and honor to Lapu-Lapu considering the fact that "he is a true-blooded Oponganon."
"His passion for the sport is worthy of emulation," the resolution said. (FREEMAN)
