- Jose P. Sollano -

CEBU, Philippines – For Mayor Paz Radaza, the curfew on juveniles which started January this year is doing well in Lapu-Lapu City.

She said more than 400 juveniles from last January up to this month were apprehended but mostly were released after being briefed, while others were sent to the Home Care Center, which is run by the city government city social welfare office.

The city social welfare office has programs geared toward the rehabilitation and education of youth offenders.

The Home Care Center which is located in barangay Gun-ob helps rehabilitate offenders.

Curfew on minors starts at 10 p.m. and ends at 5 a.m. (FREEMAN)
