CEBU, Philippines - A 31-year-old salon products supplier was robbed at 2 a.m. the other day at Damianas Garden, sitio Banawa, barangay Guadalupe of belongings amounting to roughly P120, 000.
Initial investigation revealed that Artchille Acuino, 31, married, and residing at the place parked his pick-up type Tamaraw FX on a vacant lot near his house.
When Acuino returned, he saw the rear windshield of his car already broken and his belongings missing.
Acuino lost salon products worth P100,000, car tools worth P10,000, and a black bag containing P10,000.
PO2 Romeo Cabulao of Station 9 told The FREEMAN that the robbery will be investigated.
"Maghimo og follow-up unya ug makakita gani mi og lead, tawagon namo ang mga biktima aron sila maka-confirm nya amo silang kumbinsihon nga pasakaan og kaso ang mga suspetsado," Cabulao said.
Meanwhile, five unidentified men forced their way into an establishment owned by a Chinese national in barangay Tungkil, Minglanilla, Cebu and fled with P40,000 and personal belongings worth more than P50,000.
Police said the five men entered the building as a security guard opened the gate. One of the men pointed a gun at the guard.
The men then took P40,000 from cashier Genevie Pardillo, 25.
The money was meant for salaries of workers.
Also taken were four cell phones worth P14,100 and one digital camera worth P40,000 before fleeing on a motorcycle.
The robbers were described as medium built, between 25 and 35 years old, from 5'3 to 5'6 in height, and all were fair in complexion.
