Residents of barangay Umapad benefit from medical mission

CEBU, Philippines – The Cebu Provincial Government will promote local products of the different cities and municipalities during the One Cebu Expo at the Cebu International Convention Center next month.

The One Cebu Expo is one of the highlights of the 441st Founding Anniversary of Cebu province next month, said Cebu Governor Gwendolyn Garcia.

According to the governor, the activity will run from August 7-16 and will showcase locally-made products from different cities and municipalities in Cebu.

Likewise, the event will feature a sale and exhibits from different industries of the province particularly the furniture, gifts, toys and houseware, fashion accessories and bridal accessories, food, hospitality, wellness and information technology.

Garcia said the ten-day activity will also feature the destinations and festivals of the Province of Cebu.

“Kining atong himoon nga dakong kalihukan aron lang gayud kini pagtabang sa atong mga opisyal lokal nga mahatagan gayud sa dakong promosyon ang ilang tagsa-tagsa ka mga produkto,” said the lady governor.

Garcia also expressed her thanks to the big businessmen and industries in Cebu who assured the Capitol of their support and participation in the big activity that will be spearheaded by the Cebu province.

Borbon Mayor Bernard “Butch” Sepulveda, on the other hand, said that they supported the program of Garcia because it will provide a venue for them to sell and promote their products. (THE FREEMAN)
