VSMMC conducts annual maintenance

CEBU, Philippines - The Vicente Sotto Memorial Medical Center (VSMMC) will conduct its annual maintenance and cleaning of the hospital’s Delivery and Labor Rooms, Ward I, Ward II and the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit on July 21-31.

The VSMMC’s Infection Control Committee, in a press release, said that the hospital will not be accepting obstetrics cases for the duration of the cleaning.

Patients from the southern of the province can be referred to St. Anthony Mother and Child while those from the north can be admitted to the Eversley Child Sanitarium and General Hospital.

Hospital chief, Dr. Gerardo M. Aquino, told the public to bear their request because it would provide them safer and cleaner hospital environment.   (FREEMANNEWS)
