Man kills live-in partner
CEBU, Philippines - A man shot and killed his live-in partner in Zone Ubi, barangay Paknaan, Mandaue City allegedly for her refusal to talk to him yesterday noon.
But as alleged George Bontuyan, 30, of Pulpogan, Consolacion town killed Arlyn Ulan-Ulan, 28, a resident of Zone Ubi because of jealousy.
Neighbor Violeta Mata said she and Ulan-Ulan were inside her room when Bontuyan arrived yesterday noon and asked her that they talk. But the woman refused.
Ulan-Ulan did not reach the hospital alive.
Relatives and friends said the couple had separated months ago and that Bontuyan had been residing in Consolacion town.
Bontuyan then left on a motorcycle with his 7-year-old son whom he took with him to see his mother Ulan-Ulan.
PO1 Melvin Pelayo said the police found the boy in Consolacion but the father could not be located. – THE FREEMAN
