Two held for drugs

CEBU, Philippines - A woman eluded arrest while two other drug suspects were arrested during a buy-bust operation conducted by operatives of the Opao police station last Thursday evening in Zone Kamatis in barangay Paknaan, Mandaue city.

Opao Police station chief P Sr./Insp.Alfredo Ortiz led a team in a buy-bust operation against suspects Nerissa Quindao, 43, single, Teresita Alinsug, 44, single who are both residents of Zone Kamatis, and Walter Otasa, a resident of barangay Opao, Mandaue City.

 Police said both Quindao and Alinsug were the subjects of the operation after an informant told the police both women were selling illegal drugs in Quindao’s house.

A police decoy bought a small pack of shabu from Quindao for P300.

Quindao was immediately arrested together with Otasa who was also caught in the act of sniffing shabu during the raid.

 However, Alinsug escaped.

The police seized seven small packs of shabu and 6 bullets of a .45 caliber pistol.   (FREEMAN NEWS)
