Korean envoy visits Cortes

CEBU, Philippines - South Korean officials are looking forward to the establishment of a sister city relationship with Mandaue City.

South Korean Ambassador Kim Yong Ho and some consulate officials, accompanied by Korean Honorary Consul to the Philippines Augusto Go, paid a courtesy call on Mandaue City Mayor Jonas Cortes last Thursday.

Cortes said the Korean Ambassador is looking forward to establishing a good relationship with Mandaue.

During the courtesy call, the ambassador invited Cortes and Eric Ng of the Mandaue Chamber of Commerce and Industry to visit Korea.

Several business establishments in Mandaue City are owned by Koreans. (THE FREEMAN)
