Suspected drug pusher arrested

CEBU, Philippines - Police in Lapu-Lapu City seized shabu from a suspected drug pusher arrested during a saturation drive in barangay Maribago the other night.

 That night, the police approached some young men who were drinking and frisked them. As the body search was going on, Jupil Creu, 30, of San Carlos Village, barangay Marigondon started to move away from the group, PO2 Ritchie Aballe, the team leader of Task Group Motorcycle, said.

 Aballe said he followed Creu and saw him throw away a small bag, prompting him to immediately follow him. Inside the bag was shabu inside small packs and five folded tinfoil.

Creu is detained at the Lapu-Lapu City police detention cell while a case is being prepared against him. – THE FREEMAN
