Electrical equipment stolen from chapel in Alcantara

-

CEBU, Philippines - Unidentified men have broken into the chapel of the Jesus Miracle Crusade in Barangay Palamas, Alcantara and carted away important equipment therein.

The pastor, Richard Albao, personally reported the incident to the Alcantara Police Station last Friday afternoon, but it was not clear when the equipment was seen last at the chapel.

Among those taken were a Yamaha keyboard worth P18,000; an electric guitar worth P4,000; and a dvd player worth P1,500.

Initial investigation conducted by the Alcantara police revealed that the suspects entered the chapel through the exit door.

It was reportedly Albao who discovered that the exit door was already open and realized that the equipment were already gone.

Alcantara police are now conducting further investigation for the possible arrest of the suspects. — Antoniette T. Parce/JMO   (FREEMAN NEWS)
