German businessman found dead

CEBU, Philippines - A German national was found dead inside his residence in Barangay Atabay, Alcoy town last Monday afternoon.

Peter Claus Eicker, 65, a businessman engaged in rattan trade, was found already lifeless while sitting on a chair.

Police initial investigation revealed that the victim’s wife, Eugenia Diez Eicker, was shocked when she discovered his dead body at about 3:30 p.m. inside their residence.

The victim was brought to Lagahid Funeral Parlor for autopsy to determine the cause of his death.

Based on the initial findings of Dr. Max Cang, medico legal of Alcoy, the victim succumbed to diabetic sepsis. – Gabriel C. Bonjoc/WAB   (FREEMAN NEWS)
