...as Roxas believes voters from Visayas would pick Aquino

CEBU, Philippines - Liberal Party President and vice presidential aspirant Manuel “Mar” Roxas said he is confident that Senator Benigno “Noynoy” Aquino III’s commitment for a “clean, honest and no-nonsense governance” will convince voters in the Visayas to pick him come election day.

Roxas, who hails from the Visayas himself, said Visayan voters are for clean and honest governance and all Filipinos - despite differences in ethnicity, religion or social standing - are united for real, transformative change.

Roxas said those in power are putting their money to support the candidacy of their chosen bets, but the current administration should convince the voters themselves and not just their political leaders.

The Bando Osmeña- Pundok Kauswagan, the group of Mayor Tomas Osmeña, is supporting LP while the “One Cebu” Party of Governor Gwendolyn Garcia is pushing for the candidacy of Lakas presidential bet Gilberto Teodoro.

However, “One Cebu” Party is yet to decide on the vice presidential candidate and senatorial candidates it would support.
